Acceleration theories

Since we are getting 13 episodes instead of 16, and the strike forced
them to squeeze 5 episodes where they had planned 8, some story lines
are being condensed. This is probably a better question after a couple
of more episodes but I was wondering if anyone had any observations
along those lines. Does anything seem skipped, rushed, combined, etc
to you?
Here's an example to toss out there- Rosseau's death was pretty quick,
I had heard a rumor last year there was going to be some back story on
her but now she's just gone like 20 other characters.
