Maybe, but I doubt the pilot deserved killing and why did the smoke
monster kill Eko--because he wasn't contrite? If anyone deserved
killing it should have been Keamy and his mercenaries. How does Smokey
decide who to kill and who to just rough up or scare? I am pretty sure
now that Bend does *not* control Smokey because if he did, Keamy would
be dead. All the mercenaries did to defend themselves was shoot at
Smokey, and I doubt that accomplished anything.
