This episode was a bit of a letdown after last week. I recognized
Kate's house when Jack came downstairs, so it was no surprise to find
her there. And when Hurley told Jack that Charlie said someone would
be visiting him, it was no surprise to see Christian. And of course
Jack's surgery on the island was not all that interesting either,
since we knew he would survive.
Since we know that Sun gets off the island and Jin doesn't, and that
apparently Aaron gets off the island and Claire doesn't, developments
to advance those events weren't surprising either.
The only mild suprises for me were that Keamy's mercenaries survived
the smoke monster--I guess despite all the pandemonium the result was
just one guy injured.
I am starting to feel sorry for Juliet. Seems like there is not much
further use for her in the story, so I'm guessing she has to die.
