There's no shortage of people willing to stoke their egos, that's for 
sure.  As I said, I'm used to just actors and actresses acting like 
this.  Can anyone think of any similar examples of writers and producers 
pursuing rock star status in this sort of way?  It definitely seems like 
a new phenomenon to me, but it could just be that I haven't been paying 
attention.
