WHERE DO YOU GET THAT??  And why do you believe it?  David Lindelof
died in 2002.  Damon did not have a tense relation****p with him, just
the usual father-son stuff; I wish my relation****p with my father had
been half as good.  David's death had been anticipated for a long
time, not only by himself but by his family; he'd dodged a few bullets
and was in ill health and had noticeably deteriorated in his last
year.  Damon visited at the time of David's death, and I noticed no
such struggle to cope with emotional issues then, and imagine that the
usual grief attendant to such a thing would've been gone by 2 years
later.  Nobody seemed to notice any deterioration of Damon's work on
"Crossing Jordan" over that period.

AND I'VE WRITTEN THIS BEFORE HERE IN RESPONSE TO YOU.  Why do you
trust scuttlebutt such as above over someone WHO WAS AN ACTUAL FRIEND
OF THE FAMILY?
