That is what I thought because it is a bit of a conincidence that the 
battery died at that time.
The alarm didn't seem to be activated, however, so unless he put a dead 
battery in the smoke detector, I don't know how that would work.
Maybe we will find out that the battery Jack took out was a different 
brand of battery. Do do do do.
