The producers have been known to give different names for the casting
descriptions, but knowing how thoroughly the fans hunt down this kind
of info, it surely is intentional. So now we have a plausible
alternative to Cassidy being on the phone. I'm not sure how Sawyer
would fit into this. Why would Kate bring up his name if he had
nothing to do with it, knowing how Jack would react? Sawyer did shoot
Tom over Walt's kidnapping, so maybe he's got a soft spot for Walt.
Michael's mother (or Walt himself) would certainly want to contact the
O6, though.
