Not a big surprise that it was Christian in the cabin, since we saw
him there before, and we already knew Christian came and led Claire
into the jungle. At this point my guess is that Christian is dead but
Jacob is animating him or speaking through him.

So Ben is no longer the big shot we thought he was. For all we know,
his mission to recruit Sayid and start assassinating Widmore's people
is at Locke's direction.
