Good question. Of course, in this particular show, "move the island,"
could actually mean several things :-)
If it eventually "moves" to a chillier climate, it could explain why
Ben was wearing the DHARKA, though it certainly would seem to make
future "on island" scenes much more difficult to film in Hawaii :-)
But I thought it was interesting to see Horace's "occupation" listed
as "mathematician" on his DHARMA outfit. If, as this episode seemed
to indicate, Abaddon is actually aligned with Alpert, it could be a
clue as to why Daniel was selected to go on this particular
"mission." It could be that "Jacob" sensed that something like this
would have to be done and someone with his particular skill set would
be needed...
