I thought the most interesting part was the drawing by young Locke of 
the Smoke Monster killing some man.  Richard Alpert's reaction suggests 
that he realized Locke was having a premonition (or maybe a Desmond-type 
reincarnation).

Oh, please, it's been over 40 years since they met.  And Alpert only met 
with young Locke for a few minutes when Locke was 5 years old.

I'm around Locke's age, and I certainly don't remember what my 
kindergarten teacher and first grade teacher looked like, even though I 
got to see them for the entire school year.  Nor do I remember what my 
next-door neighbors looked like, even though I had seen them for even 
longer periods.

If a woman suddenly met me today who looked exactly like my first-grade 
teacher, I wouldn't realize it.  I certainly wouldn't expect it.
