One of the more interesting theories I've heard as to why Claire is so
composed in that scene is that Jacob's cabin is a place unstuck in
time and the Claire we saw in that scene has actually been there for a
lot longer than we suspect, knows what happened to Aaron (escaped the
island) and has accepted it as something that had to happen...
