The season finale is "There's No Place Like Home". The allusion to the
Wizard of Oz suggests that the method for the Oceanic 6 to get home
has to be in front of them the whole time.
What needs to be done:
Hurley, Sawyer, Aaron, Miles, and Sayid have to reunite with Jack's
camp.
Communication between the freighter team and Widmore must be severed,
if not already (because Widmore doesn't know where the Island is in
Ben's flash forward).
Sawyer has to make his willful decision to stay (which is why Locke's
not supposed to tell about Claire).
Jin is separated from Sun.
We will differentiate between the freighter and the strike team. (The
only person I possibly have doubts about is Charlotte. She could be a
turncoat, and although God gave Daniel nards and a brain, there's only
enough blood to keep run of them running at a time.)
Somewhere, they board a plane. However, the practicalities of certain
means of escape, the Zodiac raft and the Henry Gale balloon, elude me.
Whatever they ride must be practical enough for Hurley to board, yet
for some reason, not everyone can get on.
