Yes the Island is on a different time plane about a day and a half or so
ahead of the
rest of the world. It goes back to the rocket taking 31 minutes to reach
the island
from the ****p instead of the 28 minutes it should had taken, or the 22
hours it took
from the Island POV for Sayid and Desmond on the helicopter to get to the
****p from
the island instead of the 20 minutes it should had taken. The faster the
object moves
to and from the island and the ****p the narrower the time discrepancy is.
That is why
radio signals seem unaffected because radio signals being light waves move
too fast
to make a delay detectable by humans. It IS affected no doubt but as I
just said, not
to the extent that a person would notice without special equipment. On the
other hand
a body drifting with the current would take a much slower time to get from
the ****p
to the island. I have yet to calculate that fully I do think that if it
drifted at
about say 2 miles per hour average speed then it should had taken about 20
hours to
reach the island since the ****p is 40 nautical miles off shore. Now how it
was
effected by the time dilation phenomena I have to work out.

Here is the analysis I did back in March using the rocket and the
helicopter trips:

http://groups.google.com/group/alt.tv.lost/msg/fde72c5e5cd2d31b?dmode=source

Mind you the sixth paragraph from the bottom should read:

"1/(186,000/2,511nm)=1/74th of a second. That mean it takes light ie
radio waves 1/74th of a second to cover that distance instead of
1/4921st of second. Who is going to notice the difference the time lag
between 1/4921st and 1/74th of a second even if the signal takes around
66.43 times longer to get to the island or to get back from it to the
****p than it should?"

Factoring in the body of the doctor between the two time periods is going
to take a
lot of mental juggling. Something like the islanders found the doctor's
body (about
the time Jack collapsed IIRC) and called the ****p about it about a day or
so in the
future from the ****p's POV about three minutes or so before the doctor was
killed on
the ****p. And when you consider that the body and the chopper left at the
same time
essentially makes things even more complcated. The chopper left at night
and got to
the Island at night. It could be because Lapidus stuck to the baring this
time and
not wandered off of it like he did when he flew Sayid and Desmond and
Naomi's body
back to the ****p and got caught in a squawl. On the other hand if it took
a day to
fly from the ****p to the island since they left at night then they would
had arrived
at night.

I guess it depends how much they move it through time. So far as noted the
island is
only a day or so in the future. Perhaps they only have to move it another
day, maybe
a week to conceal it again.

She is with her father Christian who has told her everything, even that
her baby will
be okay and raised by his uncle Jack and Kate. She is not dead though, at
least I
doubt it very much.
