Well, we don't really have enough info. yet, but it is possible, if the
entrance is ****fted, without Frank's knowledge, they could leave the
island in the helicopter, and end up in a totally different time period,
with no way to get back to the island. This, however, would not affect
those still on the island.
I think there's more to it though, as going by the Orchid film, they
weren't passing through the islands barrier when the extra rabbit
appeared... But yet, time did change during that process, as the objects
on the shelf behind Marvin are differently arranged. ...Jon
