One of the biggest mysteries of LOST, was how Locke, being paralized for
three years, and carried on the jet, got off the jet a few hours later
and was instantly able to bounce around the island like Helio on the
dance floor.

I think we're seeing the mystery coming to light by this appearance of
Abaddon.  ...Locke, perhaps unbeknownst to himself, is there working for
Widmore.  ...We've seen a number of examples of his acts of sabotage.
