This is the first we've seen of him since Sayid turned him in to the
captain. The only question remaining is: When Keamy pulled the
trigger, would the bullet have bounced off his brain or did the gun
just jam?

Yeah, that was a great turn of words.  They just had to say it again.

  AFAIK it's just figurative, although suicides have actually been
thwarted 
by a bullet deflecting off a person's skull, running under the scalp, and 
then exiting.  (Imagine putting a pistol right to your head and pulling
the 
trigger, only to wake up with a mild flesh wound.)  Once it gets inside
the 
skull, though, an actual bullet wouldn't bounce even in the Lost universe.

You could throw a bullet at brain tissue and it would probably go
completely 
through it, if you have a decent arm.  Not trying to spoil the fun here, 
btw, just exploring the possibilities.
