"Lost" has got nothing on "Smallville" when it comes to this subject.
But then, you'd expect "Smallville" to have fun with it, at least when
Gough & Millar were around.
They had a character named Dr. Frederick Walden, author of
"Deciphering the Mysteries of the Ancients" (mumble it), who declared
that Clark Kent was a threat to humanity. They also got cute with a
cartoonist character named Gaines.
