Despite the fact that the term is misused, we understand what *Emily
Locke* meant by it.  And Cooper suggests to John, "Well, I guess that
makes me God, huh?"  Horace (Horus) tells John that "You gotta find
me, John. You gotta find me. And when you do, you'll find him.
Godspeed, John."  So John finds (dead) Horace, and that leads him to
Christ(ian), who says he can speak on behalf of "Jacob."

What's really going on here?  We should note that there are a number
of similarities between Horus and Jesus, not the least of which is a
"virgin birth."
