Why do you say I am getting the scenes confused when I was quoting
from ABC's recap of the episodes? I guess you meant to say that ABC
must be getting scenes from Lost confused.

Regardless, there are so many sources that sup****t the idea that it
was Frank's inability to stay exactly on course that caused Desmond's
"sickness" it seems that it could hardly be made any clearer.

How do you interpret Gault's statement to Sayid in "Cabin Fever":
"GAULT: Stay on a heading of exactly 3-0-5. Faraday says that's the
only safe way to and from the boat."

If the only "side effect" of straying off course is that Sayid would
sail in a circle, what's so unsafe about that? And if he might get
"confused" just coming back or going to the island even if he stays on
the exact heading, how can that heading be called the only safe way?
