Watch any show or read any book, the characters do stupid, dumb, illogical
things. Thats how it works. If they all played it straight and did the
exact
logical correct thing there would be no drama.
Dont get me wrong, used to spend my life shouting at the TV, but it
suddenly
occured to me that that was the point at which I was most engaged with the
show.
So, for me, drama is about stupid people doing stupid things, and seeing
the
consequences.
I remember the pilot of Lost, and after it was seen, every one was
discussing all the stupid things, ..................... and wanting more.
