I agree.  I have had discussions with some other Fans at work and I think 
that in the end, Ben will have a reason for everything that he has done. 
It's obvious that what he has been doing, we -the audience- isn't getting 
all the explanations of his deeds.  He takes John aside, talks for a
minute 
and then John is completely on his side.  I have no idea WHAT his reasons 
will be, but I think that in the end, he will turn out to be not quite a 
hero, but justified.
