Hey, who's the favorite when Locke still has to talk to a (pretended
or real) intermediary rather than Jacob directly?

And did you notice how he built it up with that pause?

Even though I'm sure this is all a conspiracy of long standing, and
that they knew each other well beforehand, and that their statements
are an act as part of a hoax rather than sincere, I think it's likely
that WITHIN THAT operation there is professional jealousy between
Benry and Locke, and that Benry enjoys getting in little digs about
it.  Benry's a friend, but one with a cruel streak.
