So last week's episode (5/8/08) show the Doctor on the boat with the
mercenaries, and one mercenary saying to the Doctor how they get a
message from the island about a Doctor showing up with his throat cut
and the Doctor saying that's impossible I'm the doctor.
So the island is in the future then? I mean, this would seem the most
obvious answer barring any further analysis.
