What seems most likely after tonight's episode is that he (and
Desmond, I'm sad to say) die when the freighter explodes. In any case,
since they can't move the freighter and we know that Sun survives and
somehow gets away from the freighter, it seems that even if Jin isn't
killed, he has no way to leave. Since it is stated that the Zodiac
raft only holds six people, I'm guessing that will be the Oceanic 6.
