The whole thing really is a mess, particularly Kate's pregnancy
story. Obviously this crazy tale, and her joke of a trial, had to be
gotten through so that Aaron could stay with her, so he can return to
the island with the O6. This was especially critical since his
grandmother made a miraculous recovery from her coma, and would surely
have gotten custody if the O6 said that Claire survived the crash but
died in childbirth. (What does it say about Christian that he was
ready to pull the plug on Carole?)
And what's this about Sunda Island? As far as I can tell, that's the
Indian Ocean, not the Pacific, which contradicts Jack's testimony.
Even more frustrating, there was no explanation of how the flight
ended up there in the first place.
