Well I think that Faraday took into account the ability to maintain a
straight flight 
plan with the instraments involved. In other words I believe that Farady
knew how 
good a pilot Frank was he flew with him after all-so I am sure he was sure
that Frank 
would be able to keep on course within a degree or so of flight. And Frank
was doing 
it. He kept the compass needle exactly on 305 it was the storm that pushed
him off. I 
was on him for perhaps not reacting faster. Once that needle started
moving he should 
had had both hands on the joystick (incidently I don't fly so...). As for
Sayid, you 
may be right, so I have to chalk that up to dramatic license. Of course I
am writing 
this after we saw Faraday ferry Jin, Sun, Aaron and others back to the
****p.

Yes. I am sure Faraday chose the coordinates. I am equally sure he knew
exactly where 
the Gate, as I call it, was.
