I'm super happy to have the 3rd season on DVD, but I have to say the video
quality
of these episodes is atrocious. By way of comparison, Seinfeld (which was
on
during the same period) looks great with crisp, remastered video. Mad
About You
looks slightly better than an SP VHS copy. It saddens me to see that
happen, but
clearly Sony didn't want to waste more than the minimum amount of effort
on this
set.
Disclaimer: I'm only through the first four episodes; if the quality
improves I'll
take it back. I don't have much confidence in that happening.
