I purchased "Lucky You" not too long ago and by the mereest of
coincidences found out that there was indeed a Huck Seed ,WSOP winner.
I fond this our by browsing a book by Phill Helmuth Jr. Now we all
know that Hollywood takes liberties withthe truth but I'd like to know
where,in this case at lease, the two(Truth& Fiction) part company.
Nowwwwwwwwwwww as I stated in the first sentance there is actually a
Huck Seed and not only is he a Poker Pro (1996) WSOP champ) but also
is inclined to "Proposition Bets" like his fictional incarnation.
I have a glimpse at least where the divergence starts:
The movie is set at the 2003 World series of Poker, however, this of
course overlooks his 1996 WSOP bracelet. My main two contentions was
his father also a poker pro whoom he had a conflicted relationship
with and did Huck ever romance a lounge singer as portrayed min the
Movie?
If you remember the Nick Cage/Bridget Fonda movie "It could Happen to
You" the movie makes overlooked the facts:
1. The waitress was in her 40s
2. The cop was in his 50s
3. There was no romantic relationship brtween.
Now Andy I'm deputizing you into the Realiry Police and I expect an
answer post haste! Thank you!
