You completely missed my point. Superman Returns is very similar in
spirit to the 1980's Superman films. It's not a great movie but I
would say it is better then the worst in the series and almost as good
as the first one (IMO the 2nd Superman was the best), it uses the same
score has similar looking actors who play their parts (apart from
Lois) like the original actors did and even has a story that sort of
explains Sup's absence from the silver screen... anotherwords it is
more a continuation from the original movies then a remake and it
works.
My point is Magnum could (in theory) be done the same way. I realise
you dont like the OTHER remakes or re imagings etc.. but since this
one IS a continuation and is like the original do you still object?
