Certainly possible yes, but you'd think if it was a definite inclusion it
would have been mentioned by now. Either it is a continuity error, or
Reese's birthday is effectively just days before the school year cutoff,
making him also one of the youngest in his year. Season 3 opener, aged 14.
Season 3 episode 2, aged 15. Ditto for season 4.
If that's the case, then we'd have to assume the driving age in their
state really is 15, or he wouldn't be able to make it to 15.5 for the time
of "Reese Drives."

Thanks for the background.

Surely someone at the production company must have this worked out though,
for continuity purposes if nothing else ? They do want all writers
singing from the same hymn sheet.

You're probably right; I'm still trying to get it straight in my head. He
must be 14 at the start of the season, else he wouldn't make it into that
year for high school, and must turn 15 later on, in the episode "Forwards
Backwards" as you mentioned.
Reese's age is pretty much sorted for sure - 16 for season 4, and that
leaves Dewey. As you say, he must be 11 to make it into middle school for
season 4, but still one of the youngest in his school year.
Is that the final answer ? :-)
