He might have if he was wanting to do that.  And consider that it may have
taken him forever to scheme on how to get Lois out of the house so he
could.

That did add some welcome change to the persona of Reese for me, and it
did
also underscore the fact that Malcolm is really the glue holding the
family
together, unappreciated as he is.

Liked that one too - it was about time Hal stood up to her.  And, it did
solve the Francis mystery - that she is probably the cause for a LOT of
the
strife in the family.  Since she tortured Francis like she did, that
obviously had to polarize the other kids as well.  If they play it right,
this could be a door opener to a lot of other episodes where walls get
torn
down, mysteries solved, and hatchets buried.

I still hate clip shows.  ;)
