You're right, yes. I've not seen the episode in question, but I don't
think what Lois said is entirely unfair. A lot of parents have difficulty
seeing their children as adults, regardless of their age.
It sounds more like a typical MiTM social commentary about parents and
their relation****ps with kids. Remember, actions speak louder than words
