Think of how much extra money BT squeezed out of everyone by denying

Heh. The way they pay them by piece rate is largely the reason why so many
people don't bother. A poor writer is going to try absolutely anything to
get a script accepted as they need the money. Desperation to just get
material out often leads to the poor quality we see all around us. Two
Pints of Lager, anyone ?

I wouldn't say it was anywhere near as good as Malcolm is, but I do agree
that it did have its moments. The characters were mostly amusing, and
Robert Lindsay is a fine actor. One of the better sitcoms the BBC has made
lately, I agree. Apart from The Office.
