Indeed. Quite disappointing as well as it actually got through a proposal
process on alt.config with no pain whatsoever. Not that it usually means
much any more, but the original creator might have done well to stick
around for a bit and see their hard work through.

It often takes a long time to get a group onto Google, but it is doable. I
e-mailed them when they first took over the archives and it took them a
month or so to add the group I asked for. They might be inclined to add
the group now there's been a bit of activity lately.
I'll drop them an e-mail. I can't stress how im****tant it is to get
propagation, and since no one has ever really bothered to do so with this
group, it wouldn't be wise to dismiss it as useless just yet.
Getting ISPs on board is just as im****tant though.
It's good to know I'm not the only the Malcolm in the Middle fan out
there. Despite its success in the USA, it's not done so well here in the
UK - primarily because it's badly scheduled and often thought of as a
children's programme. Not so :-)
