I have to kind of wonder here. Does anybody have an rough idea how much
marketshare an M:I DVD would have? I know Cheers was really popular as
well as Star Trek.
Whomever owns the rights to M:I probably doesn't think they'd make a lot
of
money on releasing the DVD's. It probably takes time and money just to
make
a master DVD and not to mention time to burn copies. So this is all
factored into the decision whether or not to make it on DVD.
Wasn't there a fire at Paramount (or someplace?) and the films were
destroyed?
