the Memory Bank" and like to try guessing what the stinger will be.
You have been warned.
I've been trying to get a complete, good copy of this MST3K for some
time, and I've reached the conclusion that SciFi is needlessly
prudish. In reviewing the three copies that I have (taped on three
different occasions), I found that not one has the complete stinger.
Two are missing it completely, and the third cuts Fingal off after
"Ma" (or "Mom") and before he can ask " 'm I nuts?".
This is ridiculous. Sure, I could "fix" it by tacking a copy of the
scene, from the movie, onto the end. But then it'd be jury-rigged,
and would have Mike and the 'bots instead of "A Best Brains
Production" on it, so it'd just be wrong. And besides, if they're
going to chop it off of the end, why do they then leave it in the
middle?
