Misplaced Nostalgia...

.....It's funny (or it's not), all through the 1990s I typically hated
all that was on television.  I had seen a couple of episodes of MST3K
on Comedy Central late at night.  Saw a few bits of SpaceGhost Coast To
Coast.  Just didn't get into the appeal, which is strange now because I
can't think of anything that I wouldn't have liked about either of
them.  Most everything about MST3K seems to be made just for ME...  I
was just an angry, hateful young man in those days, i suppose.

So now i'm a seething fan of MST3K, and of course I didn't become one
until a few months AFTER the last episode aired on television.  While I
enjoy watching them after the fact I really wish I was there for the
'magic', if you know what I mean.  All good things come to an end, but
the fun is a bit stunted when you consider no new epis are being made,
and everyone who was involved with it is most likely quite tired of the
whole concept being thrust in their faces all the time.

Looks like SGC2C just finished its final season too.  I'm just now
getting into Aqua Teen Hunger Force.  Let me guess, it's on the way out
too, right?

I always get into stuff after it's 'over'...  depressing...
