Rifftrax

by Michael Fierro <the_biffster@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jun 21, 2007 at 01:29 PM

I've had a little extra time on my hands over the last couple of days, so I
decided to finally pick up a couple of Rifftrax (http://rifftrax.com).
I
went with a couple of my favorite movies, The Fifth Element and The
Matrix.

The verdict? Well, my sides still hurt from laughing. Mike is still spot
on
with a lot of his riffing. He was great through both movies - I especially
liked his "No, not thermal bandages!" and "It looks really hot in there...
you might be cooler without your thermal bandages..." in The Fifth
Element,
mainly 'cuz that's exactly what I was thinking through there. :)

The Matrix was more fun, probably because Kevin Murphy joined in on the
fun. It felt just like watching an episode of MST3k, minus the silhouettes
and the host segments. Unless I am totally off my rocker, Kevin changes
voices through the movie, which made it seem even more like MST3k.

I am planning on doing "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" next.
Especially since Neil Patrick Harris joins in on the fun. I am SO there!
:)
