Judy and I finally got around to seeing the new Batman movie today and
were pleasantly surprised to see old pal duckmallard aka Doug Ballard
in a small, but pivotal, role in the film. Doug, who played Ron(of
Ron and Erick fame), was the businessman on the ferry who wanted to
turn the key, but finally didn't have the heart to. I won't go into
details in case anyone hasn't seen the film yet. I haven't checked
IMDB, but I will shortly to see what else Doug has been in lately. I
haven't heard much from him since the series "Oh, Baby" on Lifetime.
Doug's partner-in-crime (if you're of the conservative persuasion),
Don R. McManus has shown up much more often than Doug has on TV and
film. I just caught a rerun episode of the Showtime series "Dexter"
where Don plays a serial killer used car salesman....hmm, shouldn't
two negatives make a positive? LOL
Hope all are doing well. Especially those old fogies who enjoyed
seeing Doug post to this group back in the day.
