Sliding physics 29 years

by "JMcC" <jmccloughlin@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Feb 6, 2007 at 07:21 AM

When sliders was first shown I missed loads of the episode, but
recently I have begun to watch them over again and have just found one
thing about the physics of sliding that has not been explained. Its
the 29 year thing. Up till (I think) the 3rd series they always said
that if they missed the slide they would be stuck on that world. But
then all of a sudden they started saying that they would be stuck for
29 years. I was just wondering where they got this figure from and
how they arrived it.

Cheers John
