Looking at my TV, the bottom of the screen seems to be about eye level
when 
seated. Don't have bifocals, but if I did I would definately be watching 
through the distance part of the lens. I wear regular gl*****, and if the
TV 
was more than a foot higher I would have to tilt my head or it would be 
above the top of the gl***** frame. Most im****tant: DONT ASK AN INTERIOR 
DECORATOR - they don't have a clue.
