In addition, the BD-J interactivity layer, based on Java, has continued
to evolve since the introduction of Blu-ray Profile 1.0. This means that
early players may have a buggy implementation and perhaps more
im****tantly, they are not powerful enough to play the latest films
properly.

Is that last part not clear enough for you? Is the fact that they don't
recommend buying ANY player other than the drive for the PS3 not clear
that there's a problem with even the models being sold today? I found it
very clear. The manufacturers were told by the BDA that the player was
not ready for production, yet the manufacturers went ahead and produced
the beta models and sold them to the public. Are you so blinded by bias
that you just can't understand how you got screwed? Blu-Ray players
shouldn't even be on the market today, much less last year when they were
released. The only reason they are is because To****ba beat them by a mile
to a finished product. Had I bought one, I'd be demanding a refund or
suing their ***** off. This isn't about blu-ray vs. hd-dvd. It's about
all the people that got screwed by unscrupulous companies. BTW, I don't
own either format and probably never will.
