Film is film. The same emulsion used for still or motion photography will 
give roughly the same resolution. The only adjustment necessary is to
scale 
down the image area for the rotated format used in conventional movie
work. 
Since the OP didn't ask for the results for some specific film it doesn't 
seem to matter a lot -- what we are getting is a ballpark figure. Every 
batch of film and every processing run will give slightly different
results 
anyway. That is the reason that large commercial users will buy up film 
from a single manufacturing batch and use the same processing lab and 
chemical process. It gives them more consistent and predictable results.
