p.s.  I guess if you were going to buy a bly-ray player now it makes
even more sense to get a PS3.  I can't see those prices going up as
they are based on the gaming market.

Do manufactures let it be known when they will lower prices?  Since
it's been ages since my wife and I rented a DVD for ourselves and we
have a Wii I have no need/reason to get a PS3/blu ray player.  Of
course my 5 y/o would just LOVE to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks on
Blu-Ray!!!
