Seriously, I agree with you on all points except one (so far): 
reliability/longevity. I haven't yet bought an HDTV because of all the 
horror stories I read about these tv's breaking down.   ??  I want to buy 
one, but I'm skeptical that what I buy will last even five years without 
issues.
