is hdmi bi-directional?

by "dino d." <dinodorroco@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Mar 22, 2008 at 09:07 AM

hi everyone, i'm new to hdtv and have a simple question. most of the
dvd-r players that have up-sampling have no coaxial cable input. Is
this because hdmi is bidirectional? If not, how do most people use
dvd-r? In other words, how do you get the tv signal to the dvd-r if
it's not bidirectional and there is no co-ax input?

thanks,
dino
