  Jer is provided facts from science and engineering:  a protector is
only as effective as its earth ground.  More facts that say a wall
receptacle provides no earth ground.  Rather than admit or address
those facts, Jer decides to use emotional biases to believe
propaganda.  Ironically same 'reasoning' is why so many believed myths
that Saddam had WMDs and that Saddam was responsible for 11
September.  Clearly it all must be true because Jer is free to decide
for himself.  Anything Jer believes must be true.  That is Jer's
reasoning..

  Jer, believes a $3 power strip with some ten cent parts, selling for
$25 or $150, must be quality because it costs more.  That also was
Jer's reasoning.  It must be true because Jer is free to believe what
he wants.  Same electrical circuit in a $7 device is electrically
superior when it sells for $150 - according to Jer.

  Propaganda works because some only believe the first thing heard and
never ask why.  Jer has zero reasons to believe his Tripplite provides
protection. That is sufficient to know it must work.    Jer denies
reasons why - that say the protector is not effective.  Jer just knows
that Tripplite works because he heard it works.  Jer demonstrates why
propaganda works.

 Jer is free to believe propaganda.  Nobody disputes that.
Demonstrated is that Jer will not ask simple questions such as 'why'.
Jer demonstrates how some people know by automatically believing the
first thing heard - reality be damned.   Those who learn from history
saw this exact same mistake made with Saddam's WMDs - when facts and
numbers disputed that myth.  But many also ignored those facts to
believe the myth.

  Every professional source including those provided by Bud say that a
Tripplite with no earthing is ineffective protection.  It does not
protect from surges that typically cause damage AND it does not even
claim to provide protection.  Jer can even believe he is protected by
the God Apollo.  He is free to believe what he wants.  That believe
does not change facts.  Others who have respect for themselves will
instead learn basic facts; demand specs and numbers.   A protector is
only as effective as its earth ground.  Facts that Jer has the right
to ignore so as to lie to himself and others.  A protector is only as
effective as its earth ground - which that Tripplite does not have.
