Cant get ANY TV stations with new converter box!

Bought the Insignia converter at Best Buy

Hooked it up to indoor antenna and cant get ANY signal
at all.

Was previously getting 3 analog channels.

Just how much stronger must the digital signals be to
get a picture?   is it a significant increase in signal
strength form analog to digital? How much?

Looks like I'm going to have to go to an outside and
amplified antenna. <sigh>
