On commodity items, Wal-Mart usually makes the 
vendor/manufacturer responsible to monitor 
regional warehouse and store stock levels and 
****p as needed.

Higher cost of fuel is driving suppliers to make 
fewer trips.  "Just in Time" restocking will 
take a back seat to the cost ****pping.

Store stock levels will have larger swings and 
scheduling of deliveries will be less predictable.
