And I'm waiting for them to turn RTN on over here. They've had the
"slate" up for more than a month now. (And they've probably been
breaking the E/I rules, even without showing any actual content other
than the station ID loop.) The fun part was when their encoder was
messed up for a couple of weeks and caused the picture to go blocky and
jump back and forth.
FYI, it's apparently going to be broadcasting in a 4:3 SD format. Since
this network is clearly oriented toward being a subchannel, it doesn't
make much sense to go HD. Widescreen SD maybe, but even then it's a bit
tricky to do a telecine from 4:3 film to a 16:9 video.
